Information: One in ten white Europeans and 80% of non-white races suffer from lactose intolerance, the latter group of individuals due to a genetic lack of lactase enzyme secretion. Lactase deficiency leads to the inability to digest the lactose (milk sugar) in dairy products.

Biocare's Liquid Lactase enzyme, which is derived from Aspergillus oryzae, is designed to support hydrolysis of milk sugar (lactose), and may be used by individuals who have difficulties digesting milk products.
